My adventures in utero
So good. the eagerness to meet, to reach out and touch our worried faces. Wonderful.
Thank you so much, Reuben!
Lovely stuff, T. So many great images. I love God pulling apart the stars to make us. And the tiny pomegranate seed toes!
(you have a typo in the 2nd stanza *it it*
Thank you so much, Rebecca! And I fixed the typo. Sigh. I'm glad you pointed it out. It happens way more than I would like!
Same with all of us, I think.
Thank you, Tania. Again, I am moved to prayer.
“I can’t wait to meet them.”
Ah, awe, Jesus.
In you - yes, IN
you, in your being,
as your core -
there is “no turning back”
from what they-we-I
need or do
to others,
to self
to you.
I am silenced
to heart-kneeled
ah of release
and
wordless awe.
Wonderful. Thank you, Rebecca!
I love the tenderness of this. It reminds me of one of my favorite pictures books my children had, Angel in the Waters, which is told from the point of view of an unborn baby.
Thank you for this kind comment, Melanie!
